The Role – Hotel Operations Manager
This is a newly created role to support our General Manager following the achievement of 5 AA Stars.
Someone with passion for service, leadership and employee performance management experience will thrive with the freedom given to ‘make a difference’. While supported by the Manager you will be responsible for the management of all food and beverage areas and take responsibility of Front of House areas during the General Managers absence.
Responsibilities
Service delivery
To ensure the product & service continue to delight our guests and meet the requirements of our 5 AA Star status and Mystery Guest standards.
Planning/Resourcing
To ensure the effective use of resources, staffing, stocks and effectively direct the departments to efficiently plan and deliver excellent service based on business levels in the hotel
Your ability to manage key Heads of Department will be key.
Operations
Through effective management, supervision, guidance and control ensuring that the present and future operation is ready to deliver success on its objectives.
Systems
To ensure all systems are operational (with the support of our Group IT Manager) and that all staff are trained and adhere to the operating standards of use.
Staffing and Performance Management
To ensure that through selection, recruitment, training and coaching the very best standards of staff are maintained and developed
Make sure that each person within the team receives the guidance and feedback necessary to be successful and operate in a safe way meeting current company and legal requirements.
Revenue Management
To ensure all in house opportunities for sales are taken and liaising with Group Sales, Marketing and Revenue Managers to ensure financial targets are met.
