Head Housekeeper - £45,000 + accommodation

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Head Housekeeper at a beautiful country estate. The role will be varied with no two days the same, ensuring excellent presentation for the house, the wedding venue and wedding accommodation, filming and photo shoot areas and two Airbnb properties.

The Head Housekeeper plays a central role in the presentation, organisation, and smooth functioning of the estate across all these activities.

The role requires close collaboration with the Weddings team, Events, Operations and Security, House Opening and Tearoom teams, and caterers. It would suit someone who enjoys a fast-paced and varied environment, someone who remains calm under pressure, and takes pride in creating a welcoming and beautifully maintained estate.

This will be a hands-on role working alongside your team of 3 Assistants maintaining exceptional standards throughout the estate. As Head Housekeeper you will be expected to provide clear direction and leadership, plan rotas and create a calm, organised working environment.

The ideal Head Housekeeper will have previous experience within private estates or fast-paced hospitality, work well under pressure, be skilled at managing small teams and have a great eye for detail to maintain the high-end reputation they have built over the years.

Due to the rural location of the property your own transport will be essential.
