A wonderful opportunity has arisen for a Restaurant Manager to join this fabulous restaurant set in 48 acres of East Sussex woodland. The restaurant is set in a small group of architecturally designed environmentally sustainable buildings, a place where people can embrace nature and enjoy outside activities.

The food and drink offering will be in keeping with this culture, using the very best of local products, vegetables grown on site and produce foraged from the forests. Everything is prepared on site, and they have been gaining recognition for this.

Alongside this property our client has another restaurant, an award-winning farm to fork concept which has been awarded with numerous awards and accolades. They grow most of the produce from the farm established specifically for this purpose and forage for seasonal treasures too.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience as a Restaurant Manager and feel passionately about hospitality, fine food and premium beverages. The successful Restaurant Manager will be involved in all aspects of the day to day running of the restaurant, ensuring an excellent standard of service at all times.

The working week will be 5 days out of 7 with two consecutive days off. The working hours are 7am to 5pm and there will be the occasional evening to cover events and weddings-generally the hours for this are 4pm to 12pm.
Initially this role will be for one year to cover maternity, however there will also be the opportunity for a permanent role should the candidate be interested.
Due to the rural location of this position, you will require your own transport.
