This lively award-winning gastro pub is currently seeking a creative and innovative Sous Chef to join this busy, fast paced kitchen. It is an independent business, which is very much a destination venue with a superb food trade. You should therefore have a real interest in current food trends and working with fresh, seasonal and locally sourced produce. There is a brigade of 4 chefs preparing modern British cuisine with European influences and everything is made in house. As Sous Chef you will be involved in the day to day running of the kitchen designing menus, controlling stock, ordering and training and motivating your team. Alongside this the ideal candidate will have good business acumen and excellent man- management skills.
