A lovely village pub with an excellent reputation for their fine cuisine and hospitality.

This independently owned establishment is currently looking for a talented Head Chef to take over the day to day running of this first-class kitchen.

There is a team of 3 chefs and a KP preparing modern British and European menus. The emphasis here is on the use of fresh, seasonal produce sourced as locally as possible. They also regularly go foraging and the menus change daily to reflect this.

The ideal candidate will be passionate about cooking and have a genuine love for the industry. They would like someone who really gets involved and can assist them take the business forward. The owners are both very hands on and will offer their full support to the Head Chef, to assist them reach their goals.

The Head Chef will have full control of the kitchen designing menus, sourcing local suppliers, stock control, ordering and all relevant paperwork. As it is a small team mentoring, training and motivating your chefs will also be an important part of the role.
