A lovely contemporary pub with a lively bar, popular restaurant, and beautiful garden for the warmer months. Currently they are looking for a talented Head Chef to take over the day to day running of the kitchen, leading their brigade of dedicated and experienced professionals.

The Head Chef will have plenty of autonomy over the menus, cooking with fresh ingredients sourced from artisan suppliers in the local area. The menus change daily so you can make the most of the seasonal Kent produce. There is also a well-equipped kitchen, so plenty of opportunity to get creative with the menus.

The ideal candidate will be a great team player, have excellent communication skills and enjoy building a committed brigade to work alongside them. Attention to detail to deliver outstanding quality food and service, being proud of your role and wanting to take the pub to the next level will be essential

You will be an enthusiastic, motivated Head Chef who has already worked in a similar role within the industry, or you could be a strong Senior Sous Chef looking for their first Head Chef position.

As Head Chef you will need great communication and leadership skills, a good level of computer literacy, the ability to work under pressure and be an excellent trainer, motivating and mentoring your team.
