A popular village pub with an excellent reputation for their fine cuisine, premium drinks, and welcoming hospitality.

The pub is independently owned and run by true professionals who love their jobs and feel passionately about working with seasonal and foraged produce. Over the years the pub has gone from strength to strength establishing itself as a destination restaurant for food lovers. Due to this success, they are currently looking for a talented Sous Chef to join this first-class kitchen.

There is a team of 3 senior chefs and a KP preparing modern British and European menus. The emphasis here is on the use of fresh, seasonal produce sourced as locally as possible. They also regularly go foraging and the menus change daily to reflect this. They have also become popular for a range of parties, events and wedding’s, so there is great variety in the work.

The ideal candidate will share their passion for cooking and have a genuine love for the industry. They would like a Sous Chef who really gets involved and can assist them take the business forward. As it is a small team you will have the opportunity to influence the menu and be an integral part of the brigade.

Your own transport will be essential due to the rural location of the pub.
