Sous Chef – farm to fork - award winning cuisine – only 2 evenings
This stunning restaurant and terrace are set within a beautiful wine estate with far reaching views. There is a talented Head Chef going from strength to strength developing the creative and imaginative menus to delight the guest and keep them returning. To take the kitchen further they are looking for a professional Sous Chef who feels passionately about cooking with fresh, seasonal produce and can support the Head Chef in the day to day running of the kitchen.

There is a restaurant showcasing the Head Chefs contemporary British cuisine, serving both an a la carte and tasting menus. The food offering will have an emphasis on local produce, with many herbs and vegetables grown on the estate. They also rear their own meat which will come to the kitchen as a whole carcass with a view to using everything.
Alongside this the kitchen also caters for wine tastings, private dining, and the occasional function. The menu here will be small dishes and sharing plates, again championing all the best produce from garden of Kent.
The ideal Sous Chef will have previous experience at a senior level working within a professional, fresh food kitchen and be able to collaborate with the Head Chef on menu design, costings, stock control, ordering and training a developing the junior members of the team.
The hours are Sunday, Wednesday and Thursday, lunch service, Friday and Saturday both lunch and dinner, so only 2 evenings and a maximum of 48 hours a week.
