Wedding Venue & Sales Manager
A great opportunity has arisen for an experienced wedding venue and sales manager at this outstanding, historic property situated within stunning grounds. Here they offer a variety of high-end packages, which can include weekend stays incorporating their beautiful bridal wing in the main house.
Ideally, they are looking for an experienced hospitality professional who can maintain the smooth day to day running of the wedding business, from enquiries through to event delivery.

This is not a wedding planning role, but an exciting and varied hands-on venue and sales role for the properties wedding business, where you’ll work with the wedding team to ensure a constantly improving customer experience.

Responsibilities for the role include:
●Manage enquiries and organise tours of the venue
● Prepare quotes, contracts and manage bookings and coordinate payments with our Accounts Team
● Be a key contact for the couples and the public face of the business
● Oversee alternate weddings on the day (this responsibility will be shared)
● Build/maintain excellent relationships
● Help ensure relevant Health & Safety and Licensing requirements are met and are accompanied by up-to-date Risk Assessments
● Work with our catering partner(s) to ensure that delivery of the catering and the front of house is up to standard
● Provide input to marketing materials, website, brochures, partner websites, social media
● Update and maintain spreadsheets and software
● Prepare a function sheet for each wedding and communicate this effectively with relevant internal teams and family members
● Work across teams to ensure that all areas used for the weddings are kept to the highest standard
● Complete weekly inspections of all wedding areas
● Working with, and handing over to counterparts in the wedding team

Requirements for the role include:
● A passion for weddings and events
● This role would suit a candidate who has the enthusiasm to help the business grow
● Confident salesperson who is comfortable negotiating with couples
● Highly organised, ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the wedding business
● Confident in using Microsoft Office and Google Products and any other software packages required
● Strong verbal and written communication skills
● An exceptional eye for detail to ensure the weddings are always delivered to the highest standards
● A calm and confident manner and a practical approach to problem solving
● A flexible approach and able to work additional hours in other areas across the business when needed
